Product Compliance & Testing Manager

Adecco Worcester are recruiting on behalf of a client for an opportunity to join a growing design, import, and distribution business supplying consumer products across the UK and Europe. This role takes full ownership of product compliance, safety, and testing across a varied product range sold through retail and online channels, including Amazon.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all product compliance and regulatory activities
• Ensure products meet UK & EU legislation (GPSR, CE/UKCA, REACH, RoHS, etc.)
• Develop and oversee testing and certification programmes
• Liaise with external test houses (e.g. SGS, Intertek, T-V)
• Review test reports and maintain technical documentation
• Support product development and advise suppliers on compliance requirements
• Manage Amazon and marketplace compliance, including documentation requests
• Conduct risk assessments and support product safety investigations or recalls
• Maintain audit-ready records including Declarations of Conformity and technical files

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in product compliance, testing, or product safety
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU regulations and standards
• Experience managing testing programmes and reviewing reports
• Background working with overseas suppliers
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Desirable

• Experience with testing bodies or marketplace compliance (e.g. Amazon)
• Background in consumer goods
