Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is currently seeking a Procurement Manager for a contract position. This role focuses on procurement operations within the engineering and maintenance categories, playing a vital part in managing and optimising the supply chain of a dynamic and fast-paced business.This is an outside IR35 contractKey Responsibilities:Developing and delivering a Procurement Category Plan in collaboration with the Lead Procurement ManagerConducting market analysis, spend assessments, and stakeholder engagement plansManaging end-to-end tender processes, driving commercial valueIdentifying opportunities for cost savings and value optimisationEnsuring contractual coverage and well-planned sourcing activitiesMaintaining accurate and comprehensive contract and supplier recordsManaging supplier relationships to secure best value contractsPromoting effective Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)Continuously learning about industry developments to maintain an up-to-date category strategyJob Requirements:Experience in procurement operations, supply chain management, and purchasingProven ability to develop and implement procurement strategiesStrong negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skillsProficiency in conducting market analysis and managing end-to-end tendersCapability to handle complex contract specifications and scopesExcellent analytical abilities and high attention to detailRelevant degree or equivalent professional experienceCIPS ..... full job details .....
