Your new role As Procurement Manager, you''ll act as the lead advisor on procurement strategy, frameworks, and policy. You''ll manage high-value contracts, provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders, and represent the organisation at regional and national forums. The role also involves leading improvement projects, shaping procurement objectives, and delivering training to internal teams and partners.Key responsibilities include:Leading procurement strategy and complex contract management.Manage end-to-end procurement for a set of indirect categories, ranging from call offs to tendersAdvising senior officers and influencing strategic decisions.Driving innovation and best practice across procurement processes.Ensuring procurements are run in line with public regulations (PA23)Working closely with budget holders to advise on procurement approach and best practiceDesigning and delivering procurement training programmes.What you''ll need to succeed MCIPS qualified or equivalent working experience In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement regulations and frameworks such as PA23, TPP training would be ..... full job details .....
