Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Essex based client to recruit for a Procurement Manager (Electronics) The role:You will take a leading role in driving subcontractor performance and supplier capability across complex, cutting-edge programmes. You will play a key part in strategically managing important PCBA system integration projects, each at different stages of their lifecycle, ensuring seamless progression from concept through to stable production. Main Responsibilities: Subcontract and Supplier DeliveryLead supplier selection activities ensuring capability, capacity, and maturity alignment to programme phase (NPI through to production ramp) and delivery risk profile.Own end-to-end delivery performance of assigned subcontractors, ensuring alignment to programme milestones, cost targets, and quality requirements.Establish and maintain robust supplier delivery plans, tracking performance against agreed schedules and proactively managing risks and constraints.Lead recovery planning and execution for underperforming suppliers, driving timely resolution of delivery or quality issues. Supplier Readiness and Technical Programme SupportEngage suppliers early in the design and NPI phases to ensure technical capability, capacity, and readiness to support programme requirements.Conduct supplier readiness and capability assessments, including industrialisation, compliance, and documentation maturity.Ensure alignment between engineering change processes and ..... full job details .....
