Procurement Manager

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement and Trading Manager will have responsibility for procurement processes from supplier selection through to stock management and third-party trading. As a member of our management team within our division, our Procurement and Trading Manager would lead with integrity and as a role model of Dairygolds Values and Behaviours.Key AccountabilitiesEfficient supplier management evident with legally compliant, price-competitive, sustainable and quality product, SLA adherence and forecasting of supplyThe manufacturing demand for raw material and packaging are consistently met for UK and GmbH business unitsDesign and delivery of Supplier Performance Scorecard and remedial action to address areas of improvement or non-complianceDesign and delivery of up-to-date price catalogue for all suppliers o Third party trading partner relationship management; with profitability evident of all trading activityThird party storage provider relationship management to enable optimal stock management at all timesSuccessful internal stakeholder managementCompliance with approved strategies, policies and procedures associated with the abovePerson specificationDemonstrable experience of supplier relationship managementStrong financial and commercial acumen evidenced by growth and profitability of previous account managementDemonstrable understanding of market analysis platforms and application to pricing negotiationExperience of working within a support role and confident working independently.Good experience of IT systems; ideally Oracle or similar plus strong ExcelConfident working with data and excellent attention to detailThis role is for a fixed period of 12 months The closing date for applications is 29th August ..... full job details .....
