Reporting to the Head of Procurement, the Procurement & Trading Manager will have responsibility for procurement processes from supplier selection through to stock management and third-party trading. As a member of our management team within our division, our Procurement & Trading Manager would lead with integrity and as a role model of Dairygolds Values & Behaviours.-
Key Accountabilities-
- Efficient supplier management evident with legally compliant, price-competitive, sustainable and quality product, SLA adherence and forecasting of supply
- The manufacturing demand for raw material and packaging are consistently met for UK & GmbH business units
- Design and delivery of Supplier Performance Scorecard and remedial action to address areas of improvement or non-compliance-
- Design and delivery of up-to-date price catalogue for all suppliers o Third party trading partner relationship management; with profitability evident of all trading activity-
- Third party storage provider relationship management to enable optimal stock management at all times
- Successful internal stakeholder management-
- Compliance with approved strategies, policies and procedures associated with the above
Person specification
- Demonstrable experience of supplier relationship management-
- Strong financial & commercial acumen evidenced by growth & profitability of previous account management-
- Demonstrable understanding of market analysis platforms and application to pricing negotiation-
- Experience of working within a support role and confident working independently.-
- Good experience of IT systems; ideally Oracle or similar plus strong Excel
- Confident working with data and excellent attention to detail
