Procurement Manager

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Procurement Manager to join a growing, innovative business based in Aldershot, Hampshire, with a salary of up to 60,000.This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the procurement function, driving strategic sourcing, supplier performance, inventory optimisation, and product compliance, while leading a team.The successful candidate will have proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing, production, or product-based environment.This is a fully office-based position, requiring full-time onsite presence in Aldershot. Role responsibilities of the Procurement Manager include:Lead the procurement function, developing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, protect margins and ensure a resilient supply chain.Build and manage strong supplier relationships, overseeing supplier performance, contract negotiations, onboarding, and compliance.Take ownership of inventory planning, forecasting, and stock optimisation to ensure product availability while minimising excess stock.Use data and reporting tools (ERP, Excel and BI) to provide commercial insights, improve decision-making, and drive continuous process improvements.Lead and develop the Procurement and Compliance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Ensure procurement governance, product compliance and sustainability standards are met while managing supply chain ..... full job details .....
