Helping to deliver one of the largest new major infrastructure projects in the UK, valued at around £1bn. Supporting the first of many major projects in the region. With at least 5 years guaranteed procurement, it is likely that it will lead to much more than this. You will be working in a fast-paced project procurement team, who are building a greenfield supply chain. The project procurement team will be involved in procuring hundreds of millions of pounds of civils, MandE and site set up materials and subcontracts over the next 5 years.Candidate Requirements
5+ years strategic procurement experience across any large complex construction, engineering or manufacturing company.You must have strong subcontract / strategic procurement experience, involving some team management.All candidates must have strong stakeholder management experience with a track record of facing off to challenging senior internal stakeholders; any external stakeholder management would be desirable.Due to demanding nature of this project and some of the challenging stakeholder requirements, candidates will be assessed on attitude, behaviours and drive as much as their technical ability.Apply Now
