This role provides the opportunity to develop capital procurement and consultancy experience, working with highly skilled teams to deliver industry-leading programmes and projects advice to large global brands on transformational energy investments.Main Responsibilities

Provide procurement support across multiple programmes, projects and commissions, helping clients progress toward green, sustainable outcomes across renewable energy asset types.Deliver and continually improve clients’ performance and meet targets across key capital procurement themes.Support the development of renewable energy procurement services provided by Turner and Townsend.Support business development for renewable energy procurement and marketing requirements of the wider Contract Services capability.Support the delivery of team and wider business targets in Turner and Townsend.Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for individuals with knowledge and experience in embedding procurement excellence into end-to-end procurement activities, with core skills in end-to-end procurement, supply chain management and/or contract management. This includes:Major capital programmes and projects procurement strategy and implementationContract managementSupply chain intelligenceSupplier evaluation strategiesSupply chain managementContract terms, negotiation and awardDesirable but not essential technologies include Hydro-Electric, Onshore and Offshore Wind, Tidal, Energy from Waste, Hydrogen, Solar, Carbon Capture, Net Zero, Biofuels, Geothermal.Qualifications/experience:Degree related to Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management or similarProgress towards Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalentSecurity Clearance (SC) – current or releasable, not essentialExperience and Behaviours

Wider procurement consulting experience from client, contractor or professional servicesExperience in responsible sourcing areas including human rights, environment, health and safety, anti-bribery and corruption, and labour practicesGood understanding of UK and international energy sector, technologies and regulatory environmentsExperience in supplier engagementConfident, independent and able to work autonomouslyAbility to manage work, business development and career development activitiesExcellent written and verbal communicationAbility to compile reports and research documentationClient-facing with stakeholder collaborationGood IT skills, interest in tools, systems and dataDriven to deliver results and work collaborativelyThe Offer
