Process Operator - 6 Month FTC

We are working with an award-winning employer to grow their team as a Process Operator in the Witham area. This is a 5 month fixed-term contract, making it an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in science who is looking to start a career within the industry.Previous experience is not essential; however, you must have a genuine interest in science, be highly organised, and be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining accuracy and high standards.Full training will be provided.Salary: 24,960.00 -26,256.00 per annum + 10% Shift Allowance (pro-Ratta''d for FTC)Hours: 37.5 hours per weekShifts: Shifts 6-1, 1-8 rotation (Due to shifts Public Transport is not available to Witham - therefore you must live in Witham or you are a car driver/access to a vehicle)Purpose of the JobTo weigh out analytical samples for the laboratory; load and unload the laboratory dishwashers; wash laboratory glassware; transport materials and stores between Witham sites (by foot or using the company van); and carry out sample preparation under the guidance of the Chemist/Laboratory Supervisor.DutiesUndertake consistent and accurate laboratory weighing techniques and manipulation skills.Ensure that all assigned work is carried out in conformance with instructions, established methods, and quality standards.Demonstrate a consistent understanding of material types and their relevant sample preparation requirements.If holding a current driving licence, act as a porter to other company ..... full job details .....
