Manufacturing Process EngineerSheffield Permanent Manufacturing Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting an established manufacturing business in Sheffield with the appointment of an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer. This is a hands-on technical role focused on improving manufacturing performance, solving process issues and ensuring production methods consistently deliver the required standards. The role You''ll work across a range of manufacturing operations, taking ownership of process performance and driving improvements around quality, efficiency, cost and reliability. Key areas of responsibility include: Improve and develop manufacturing processes and production methods Investigate process issues, defects and non-conformances, identifying effective corrective actions Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity Develop practical improvements to reduce waste, improve output and strengthen process reliability Ensure production teams have clear, effective methods and technical guidance to work safely and consistently Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain to resolve technical issues Support the introduction of new products, processes and equipment Assess and improve manufacturing controls, equipment settings and operating standards Provide technical input into customer requirements, product issues and improvement projects Work with external suppliers and subcontractors where manufacturing performance needs to be ..... full job details .....
