Process Engineer (Extrusion)

Process EngineerPermanent Manufacturing Competitive salary + benefits Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established manufacturing business that is looking to appoint an experienced Process Engineer to support and develop its extrusion operation. This is a hands-on technical position for someone who understands continuous manufacturing processes and enjoys turning process data and technical knowledge into measurable improvements on the shop floor. As the Process Engineer: You''ll take a key role in developing, stabilising and improving extrusion processes, working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering. Your focus will include: Developing and improving extrusion manufacturing processes Establishing and maintaining process settings, standards and controls Supporting new product introduction and the transition into production Leading trials, process validation and capability work Using production data to improve yield, scrap, throughput, efficiency and quality Investigating process problems, defects and customer issues through structured root cause analysis Identifying and delivering continuous improvement projects Supporting the development of tooling, equipment and process improvements Working with production teams to resolve day-to-day technical challenges Developing practical manufacturing documentation and process controls Supporting operator and technical team development Contributing to wider safety, quality and environmental ..... full job details .....
