Private Client Tax Senior

Full-time (part-time hours considered)
Based in Leeds - minimum 1 day per week in the office

The Role

This is a predominantly compliance-focused position with scope to get involved in advisory assignments where appropriate. You will work closely with colleagues and clients to ensure high-quality service delivery throughout the year.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing Self-Assessment tax returns
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
• Managing HMRC correspondence and resolving queries
• Supporting ad hoc advisory projects
• Collaborating with team members to gather and review client information
• Assisting with Making Tax Digital (MTD) quarterly reporting
• Trust experience is advantageous but not essential

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Ideally ATT qualified, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Experienced in preparing personal tax returns
• Confident in communicating with clients and HMRC
• Organised, proactive and able to manage deadlines during busy periods
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
