Private Client Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well established independent accountancy practice in Brighton with the recruitment of a Personal Tax Manager.Our client is a highly regarded firm with around 40 members of staff, known for its friendly culture, collaborative environment and excellent staff retention. The firm operates from a bright, open plan office and promotes a supportive team atmosphere. Hybrid working is available, allowing up to two days per week from home.This is a key hire for the firm and a unique opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional to take ownership of the entire personal tax portfolio, working closely with partners and a team of cross trained general practice accountants who assist with compliance work where required.The RoleAs Personal Tax Manager, you will oversee the firm''s personal tax function, managing a varied portfolio of private clients while ensuring compliance deadlines are met and clients receive high quality tax advice. The role will combine hands on compliance work with advisory responsibilities and oversight of junior support where appropriate.This position would suit someone who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and being a trusted point of contact for both clients and colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing, completing and submitting self assessment tax returns for a varied portfolio including individuals, partnerships, landlords, estates, trusts and high net worth individuals.Managing the day to day running of ..... full job details .....
