Tax Assistant - Private Client Personal Tax Hitchin (On-site) £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a well-established and friendly accountancy practice in the recruitment of a Private Client Tax Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an ATT qualified, ATT studier or qualified by experience tax professional looking to develop their career within personal tax. Working closely with an experienced Tax Senior, you will gain exposure to a broad range of personal tax matters while becoming a valued member of a supportive and collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Assisting with the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns for individuals, directors and business owners Supporting the Personal Tax Senior with a range of personal tax compliance and advisory work Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve tax queries and obtain information Assisting with tax planning projects where appropriate Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with HMRC deadlines Building strong client relationships through excellent service and communication Key Requirements ATT qualified, ATT studying, or qualified by experience Previous experience working within personal tax in a UK accountancy practice Good understanding of Self-Assessment tax compliance Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail Confident communicator with a proactive and client-focused approach Eager to learn and develop within personal tax What''s ..... full job details .....
