About the Role
A Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive is sought by an established law firm in Northampton to join its Wills, Trusts & Estates team. This full-time, permanent position offers a salary between £47,500 and £52,000 per annum. An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing Wills, Trusts & Estates team.

The Role
You will manage your own varied caseload and provide expert advice across a range of private client matters, including:
- Drafting simple and complex Wills
- Estate planning and estate administration
- Probate matters
- Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
- Advising elderly and vulnerable clients
- Trust-related work
- Court of Protection matters (where applicable)
- Assisting with the ongoing development and growth of the department
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
The successful candidate will have:
- A qualification as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- A minimum of 3 years' experience handling their own private client caseload
- Strong technical knowledge of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- A proactive and commercial approach to business development
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
- A full UK driving licence
- Experience using a Case Management System
- STEP qualification or working towards one
- Experience of, or an interest in, Court of Protection work
