About the Role

A Private Client Solicitor is sought to join an established legal team in North Yorkshire on a permanent basis, with a salary between £35,000 and £50,000 dependent on experience. The successful candidate, at least one year qualified, will manage a varied caseload covering wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and trusts, advising individuals and families on sensitive matters. Strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines are essential. This full-time position offers genuine scope to develop expertise within a supportive department, working closely with colleagues on complex private client instructions. THE ROLE:
An established private client team is looking to appoint a Solicitor to join its busy and well regarded department. You will handle a varied caseload of private client matters, advising clients on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and trusts. This is an opportunity to build on your existing experience, develop your technical expertise and work with a broad range of clients on important personal and financial matters. You will be part of an established team, with the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued success of the department.
THE CANDIDATE:
The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 1 year's PQE and experience across private client work.
You will have a good grounding in wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, estate planning and trusts, alongside strong communication and client care skills. You will be organised, proactive and confident providing clear, practical advice to clients.
