Principal Structural EngineerNew Nuclear Project Near Nottingham 70 per hour Umbrella PAYE 12-Month ContractWe are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to support a major new nuclear project near Nottingham, with a strong focus on structural engineering verification and validation (VandV). This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven VandV experience, ideally gained in a similar role within the nuclear industry. Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and produce structural engineering verification plans.Lead and take ownership of verification activities across designated work packages.Verify structural designs, analysis, connections, foundations, buildability and compliance with relevant standards.Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to coordinate verification activities.Support VandV processes, planning and technical assurance.Essential RequirementsPrincipal-level structural engineering design experience.Proven experience in engineering verification and validation, particularly desk-based or design verification.Experience producing verification plans and independently delivering technical outputs.Ability to work effectively in a developing project environment.Desirable ExperiencePrevious VandV experience within the nuclear industry.Site-based verification experience.Experience with novel structures or complex engineering projects.Contract Details 70 per hour, Umbrella PAYE.Initial 12-month contract.40 hours per week.Flexible hybrid working, with ..... full job details .....
