Our client is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join their successful Derby office. You''ll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors while playing a key role in the development of junior engineers and the delivery of high-quality design solutions. Role As a Structural Engineer, you will: Lead the structural design and delivery of a wide range of projects from concept through to construction. Undertake detailed design in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber. Liaise directly with clients, architects, contractors and other design team members. Prepare and review calculations, drawings, reports and specifications. Attend project and site meetings. Mentor and support graduate and junior engineers. Contribute to business development and client relationship management. Requirements Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering. Minimum of 3 years'' experience within a UK structural consultancy environment. Strong experience designing structures using a variety of materials including steel, concrete, timber and masonry. Proficient with industry-standard software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS and AutoCAD. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. What''s on offer?
