Principal Flood Risk ConsultantLocation: ExeterSalary: 55,000 - 70,000 + BenefitsAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Principal Flood Risk Consultant to join a growing environmental consultancy in Exeter. This role is ideal for an experienced flood risk professional looking to take a leading role in delivering technically complex projects, managing client relationships and mentoring junior members of the team.Working as part of a multidisciplinary environmental and engineering team, you will lead the delivery of flood risk and drainage projects across the residential, commercial, renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. You will play a key role in project management, technical review, business development and the continued growth of the flood risk team.The RoleLeading the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) for a wide range of development projects.Producing and reviewing drainage strategies in accordance with national and local planning policy.Designing sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) from concept through to detailed design.Undertaking hydraulic and hydrological assessments using industry-standard software.Managing multiple projects, ensuring programmes, budgets and technical standards are achieved.Providing technical leadership and quality assurance across flood risk and drainage projects.Mentoring and supporting junior consultants and graduates.Liaising with clients, planning authorities, the Environment Agency, Lead Local Flood Authorities ..... full job details .....
