We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Designer to join our team in Stevenage. As a key member, you will understand clients’ needs, proactively identify solutions, and ensure service excellence in meeting expectations.Ensure the client is aware of their duties under CDM 2015.Review existing HandS information and advise if additional surveys are needed.Engage with stakeholders.Oversee the creation of the Design Risk Register.Assist the client in identifying suitable project preconstruction information.Compile the pre-construction information pack.Assure supplier appointment and advise on competency.Provide HandS information to the Principal Contractor for construction works.Liaise with the Principal Contractor during construction.Compile the Health and Safety File.Qualifications

NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ L6 in Health and SafetyNEBOSH Certificate in Occupational HandSNEBOSH Fire CertificateTechnical Member of IOSHCertified Member of IOSHChartered Member of IOSHAPS Principal DesignerExtensive experience on similar projects/programmesProficient in Design Risk ManagementProficient in implementing the Hierarchy of Controls in designsExperience managing HandS risks during preconstructionAdditional Information
