Attention all Principal Designers!
We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Designer to join a well-established architectural practice, in a part-time contract role outside IR35. Our client is also seeking Principal Designers with an architectural background for a full-time contract role, also outside IR35.
You will be required to work 3 days a week on site in Mayfair, working on a large-scale project in London on stages 3-4.
Key Responsibilities:
-Lead the planning, management, monitoring and coordination of health and safety in the RIBA stages 3-4.
-Foster strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the internal team, promoting an investigatory and inclusive design process.
-Ensure that all deliverables (drawing packages, details, specifications) meet the highest standards.
What we are looking for:
-Must be RIBA certified (essential).
-Prior experience working on large scale projects on RIBA stages 3-4.
-Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
-Significant leadership experience in architecture.
-Proven record of developing contextually specific, idea-driven design strategies.
-Advanced proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, Adobe Suite, Enscape or similar).
