We hold long term framework agreements direct with water companies and work with blue chip contractors to deliver projects across the UK. Senior Civil Engineers and Principal Civil Engineers

to support the AMP8 water industry capital investment programme. If you have relevant water industry design experience, we can tailor opportunities to your career ambitions; we also offer mentoring and training to support transitions from other engineering sectors.Key Responsibilities

Take ownership for all aspects of project delivery including health and safety, technical, quality, schedule and budgetManage multi-disciplinary teamsShape the delivery of our services and identify opportunities to deliver complementary services from the wider WSP businessBuild relationships with Clients to ensure service delivery and customer satisfactionContribute to the identification and delivery of innovative approaches, new services and digital solutionsContribute to the implementation of our Future Ready and Net Zero programmeAct as an ambassador for best practice within the Asset Design team and on Client sponsored initiativesUndertake bid preparation, resource and budget developmentLine manage and support the professional development of graduate engineers and degree apprenticesContribute to recruitment and growth of the civil engineering teamContinue your career journey through ongoing development of technical, managerial and leadership skillsWhat we are looking for

A degree in Civil EngineeringChartered status, or significant progression towards membership of the ICE or CIWEMExperience in managing engineering design teams comprising civil engineers and other supporting disciplinesExperience delivering projects to an identified budget and scheduleExperience in a checking or technical approval role on linear civil engineering infrastructure projects or industrial/process designExperience mentoring or coaching junior civil engineering staffClient-facing experienceGood presentation, written, and verbal communication skillsAbout us and Benefits
