The opportunity to join a privately owned, long established, award-winning MEP team and become the regional leader in Manchester. There is high potential for growth and opportunity, including equity in the medium/long term. The role is to take the lead on a diverse portfolio of projects, primarily refurbishments and smaller schemes, with a leaning towards reuse, refurbishment, and sustainability, minimising impact on the planet. Flexible, hybrid working and core hours 10:00-16:00. Competitive starting salary and a cohesive, communicative team across offices, with meritocracy and opportunities to progress to Principal or Associate grade in an M or E background.Responsibilities include working through RIBA stages 1-7 on a varied portfolio that includes judicial, custodial, defence, commercial, leisure, retail, residential, historic, industrial, education and healthcare projects.What’s on offer includes a competitive starting salary of between £55,000 and £75,000, 28 days annual leave, pension, healthcare, potential for bonus, and the possibility of equity in the medium/long term. Hybdrid working and flexible hours around core times, with a supportive team environment.Responsibilities

Lead a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors (judicial, custodial, defence, commercial, leisure, retail, residential, historic, industrial, education and healthcare).Work through RIBA stages 1-7, with a focus on refurbishments and smaller schemes, prioritising reuse, refurbishment, sustainability, and minimal environmental impact.Develop and manage client relationships; act as an account manager and developer where appropriate.Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality outcomes within time and budget constraints.Contribute to business development and regional growth efforts for Manchester.Qualifications / Requirements

At least 8 years of building services design experience in the UK (potentially more).Competent and confident in leading projects from RIBA stages 1-7.Experience aligned with an MEP background.Ambitious, motivated to deliver the business development plan and grow regional clients around Manchester.Positive, supportive, and collaborative approach.What Next
