Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants for flexible day-to-day and short-term opportunities across Bexley.

We work with primary schools throughout Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Welling, Erith, Crayford, Belvedere and surrounding areas.

Schools require reliable and enthusiastic individuals who can provide classroom support, work with small groups and help pupils with a variety of learning needs.

Whether you''re looking for regular work throughout the week or occasional assignments around other commitments, we''d love to discuss your availability.

Your responsibilities could include:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

• Assisting teachers with classroom learning and activities

• Delivering small-group support in reading, phonics and numeracy

• Providing individual support to pupils with additional needs

• Encouraging positive behaviour and independence

• Helping pupils feel confident, included and supported

We''re interested in hearing from candidates with:

• Teaching Assistant or school-based experience

• Experience in childcare, nursery or SEND settings

• A patient, friendly and enthusiastic personality

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A willingness to adapt to different school environments

• A commitment to safeguarding and supporting children

Pay rates and working hours

The pay offered will depend on the specific assignment, including your experience and qualifications, the responsibilities involved and the hours required.

Working patterns can differ between schools. Some bookings may cover the standard school day, while others may include earlier starts for breakfast clubs, later finishes for after-school provision or additional responsibilities supporting pupils with specific needs.

These differences can affect the total pay available for an assignment. All pay rates and working hours will be agreed with you before you accept a booking.
