GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a compassionate and proactive Primary TA to support learning in a welcoming school setting in Rotherham. This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to children’s development and work closely with dedicated educators.

Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Provide targeted support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
• Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support pupils during lessons, activities, and transitions throughout the school day.
• Foster a positive and respectful atmosphere that supports learning and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals when required.

Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:

• Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
• A positive and adaptable approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic attitude.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
