Year 6 Teacher – Maternity Cover
Mansfield | Full-Time | Paid to Scale | Start: Summer 2 (May 2026)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Mansfield for a full-time maternity cover position starting in Summer Term 2 (May 2026).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident KS2 practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils through a crucial stage of their primary education and preparing them for SATs and transition to secondary school.

The Role:

• Full-time Year 6 class teacher position
• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for end-of-year SATs and support academic progress
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Recent experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6
• Strong understanding of SATs preparation and assessment
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• A committed and enthusiastic approach to teaching
