Primary Teacher

The school is looking to appoint a KS1 Teacher on a temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful Teacher will be working across Year 1 and Year 2, delivering high-quality lessons using strong subject knowledge, scaffolding learning and AFL, while supporting pupils with SEND, delivering interventions and supporting continuous provision and phonics development.

The successful Teacher / KS1  will have:

• QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1, ideally Year 1 and Year 2
• Strong phonics knowledge and experience with continuous provision
• Ability to scaffold learning and use AFL effectively
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream setting
• A proactive, flexible and ‘can-do’ attitude
