Supply Desk are working closely with a Chatham based primary school who are looking for a dedicated teacher for a long-term position covering Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, starting after the Easter break and running until the end of the academic year.

The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and hardworking primary teacher to make a lasting impact on children''s learning. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love for learning, and helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The School:

The successful candidate will be joining a three-form entry primary schools who are extremely supporting and work together to achieve the best outcomes for their children. The children come from diverse backgrounds, and some from very vulnerable backgrounds, so the school are looking for someone resilient, approachable and hardworking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging and effective lessons in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, tailored to meet the individual needs of students.
• Inspire and motivate students to excel in their learning and reach their full potential.
• Create a positive classroom environment where children feel supported and eager to learn.
• Use creative teaching strategies and hands-on activities to enhance student engagement and understanding.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain high standards.
• Work collaboratively with school staff and communicate with parents/carers to ensure student progress.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven teaching experience in Key Stage 1 or 2, with a strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum.
• Confident, hardworking, and determined to make a positive impact on children''s learning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to acquire one).
