Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in primary education?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to register for full-time opportunities within a range of welcoming primary schools across the Worksop area. We are looking for professionals who are committed to helping children with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.

As a SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Work closely with class teachers and SENDCOs to deliver engaging and inclusive learning.
• Support pupils on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence.
• Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment.

To be considered for these opportunities, you should have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
