Primary Teacher - Retford

Are you a qualified Primary Teacher looking for flexible work across Retford and the surrounding areas?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Retford. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with daily supply, short-term, long-term and permanent positions available.

We are looking for full-time and part-time teachers, with working patterns available to suit your experience, availability and preferred year groups.

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Primary National Curriculum

Creating a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment

Adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils, including those with SEND

Assessing pupil progress and providing clear feedback in line with school policies

Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and participation

Working effectively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, parents and senior leaders

Following school safeguarding, behaviour and curriculum policies

Providing continuity of learning during short-term and long-term cover bookings

Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification

Recent experience teaching within a UK primary school

Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

Effective classroom and behaviour management skills

A reliable, flexible and professional approach

Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances where applicable and suitable professional references

Comprehensive employment history covering the previous 10 years where possible

Right to work in the UK

Teachers undertaking short-term or long-term cover bookings are paid in line with the appropriate teaching pay scale from day one.
