About the Role
A charming 1 form entry school in Gosport is seeking an experienced andnbsp;teacher to cover maternity leave starting January 2026. This is a role with full class teacher responsibilities, initially for two terms but could be extended into the following academic year.
You will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing a mixed Year 1/2 andnbsp;class, working closely with other teaching andnbsp;colleagues to ensure support and consistency. The role includes full teaching responsibilities and offers the opportunity to contribute to wider school life.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For
- Qualified Primary Teacher with experience in KS1
- Confident in managing classroom routines and expectations.
- Good behaviour management techniques .
- Skilled in adapting teaching to meet a range of pupil needs, including SEND.
Requirements
- UK-recognised teaching qualification.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Compliance with DfE and Safer Recruitment standards.
