We are currently seeking dedicated Primary Teachers to join a specialist SEND school based in the Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds area. This is a long-term role starting ASAP, running until end of the academic year 2026, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs and offers a structured, nurturing environment with a strong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for every child. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the primary age range Support pupils with a range of SEND needs, adapting teaching approaches accordingly Create a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment Manage behaviour positively, in line with school policies and individual support plans Work closely with teaching assistants, SEND staff, and pastoral teams Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews, targets, and EHCP outcomes Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching experience Experience working in SEND settings or with pupils with additional needs Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Patient, adaptable, and resilient approach Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Benefits Long-term role until Easter half term 2026 Potential opportunity ..... full job details .....
