SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School (General SEND Support)
Aspire People are currently recruiting a dedicated and nurturing SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a welcoming primary school setting. This role will involve working across the classroom, supporting children with a range of additional needs while helping them access learning in a meaningful and engaging way.
**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with SEND within a mainstream classroom environment
* Working with small groups and occasionally providing 1:1 support where needed
* Assisting with differentiated learning activities across EYFS, KS1, or KS2
* Supporting pupils'' social development, confidence, and independence
* Helping manage behaviour positively and consistently
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support individual learning needs
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience working with children with SEND (school-based or similar)
* A calm, patient, and supportive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Passionate about inclusive education and pupil development
