Primary Teacher (SEND and SEMH Focus) Blacon, Cheshire Full-time Permanent (or specify if temporary) Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Primary Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in Blacon. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with strong experience or interest in SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs.The Role You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons to primary-aged pupils, many of whom may present with additional needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needsSupport pupils with SEND and SEMH, adapting approaches to meet a range of abilitiesImplement effective behaviour management strategies consistentlyUse de-escalation techniques to support pupils in managing emotions and behaviourWork collaboratively with support staff, SENCO, and external agenciesFoster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with pupils with SEND and/or SEMH needsStrong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approachProven ability to use de-escalation techniques effectivelyHigh levels of patience, empathy, and resilienceA ..... full job details .....
