Primary SEN Teacher - Autism Specialist Setting

This is a varied and exciting teaching opportunity, supporting small groups of pupils with autism and additional special educational needs. Alongside delivering core learning, you''ll have the opportunity to teach a range of creative and practical subjects including Art, Music, Drama and Food Technology across different Primary groups. The role would suit a Primary Teacher who enjoys variety, creative teaching and adapting learning to meet individual needs. What you''ll be doing: -Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons to small groups of pupils-Teaching pupils with autism and a range of additional SEND needs-Delivering creative and practical subjects including Art, Music, Drama and Food Technology-Adapting teaching and resources to meet individual learning needs-Supporting pupils'' academic, social and emotional development-Monitoring progress and using assessment to inform future learning-Contributing to EHCP reviews, individual education plans and progress reports-Working closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, therapists and other professionals-Promoting positive behaviour and creating a calm, supportive learning environment-Supporting learning both inside and outside ..... full job details .....
