SEN TeacherPermanent Full-Time 34,069 - 50,956 (M1-UPS2) 40 hours per weekA specialist independent school is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed SEN Teacher to join its dedicated team.The school provides highly personalised education for young people aged 6-19 with complex additional needs, including PMLD, MLD, SLD, autism, ADHD, sensory needs and associated difficulties.This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about specialist education and wants to make a genuine difference to the lives and future outcomes of young people with additional needs.The RoleAs an SEN Teacher, you will:Plan and deliver engaging, personalised and high-quality learning.Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.Adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of learners.Work closely with therapists, support staff and other professionals.Assess, record and report on student progress.Contribute to curriculum development and whole-school improvement.Lead and support teaching assistants and other adults within the classroom.Support students with sensory, communication and behavioural needs.Potentially support with physical intervention and personal care routines.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have:QTS, PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification.A strong understanding of the Teachers'' Standards.Experience or knowledge of working with students with SEN.A genuine passion for specialist education.Strong teamwork and communication ..... full job details .....
