Location: Birmingham, B33
Rate: £12.21 per hour (overtime £16.28 per hour)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 6.00am – 2.30pm, Friday 6.00am – 11.00am

 

About the Company
We’re a long-established Birmingham engineering company supplying pressed metal components, machined parts, tube manipulation, wire forms and welded assemblies to a range of industries.

 

The Role
We’re looking for a reliable Press Operator to join our production team. The role involves running press machines, carrying out basic checks and keeping work areas clean and safe.

 

Main Duties

- Operating press machinery and related equipment
- Loading material and removing finished parts
- Checking components for quality and accuracy
- Reporting any issues or defects to the supervisor or press setter
- Maintaining good housekeeping and following health and safety rules

 

What We’re Looking For

- Previous factory or machine operating experience preferred (training available)
- Good attention to detail
- A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential
