Actio Engineering Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering manufacturer based in Burnley for an experienced Press Brake Setter/Operator.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful company, working with Amada press brakes. The successful candidate will have previous experience setting and operating press brakes and be committed to producing high-quality components.

The Role

• Setting and operating Amada press brakes.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Selecting the correct materials and -setting machines to specification.
• Producing components to tight tolerances and quality standards.
• Carrying out first-off inspections and routine quality checks.
• Working to production schedules and meeting agreed targets.
• Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience setting and operating Amada press brakes is essential.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience working within a precision engineering or fabrication environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused approach.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a positive attitude and good work ethic.
