Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Sales Manager to drive revenue and contribute to the implementation of sales strategies for our premium products. This role will focus on selling at some of the most prestigious events in the sporting calendar, particularly the 2027 Ryder Cup and select DP World Tour Events.

The ideal candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, a demonstrated record of sales achievement and a strong ability to build client relationships.

This is a fantastic time to join a small, high-performance sales team as we build towards on sale for The Ryder Cup to be staged in Ireland. The role requires a proactive and high energy sales professional (ideally with knowledge and experience within Premium Sports Hospitality)

Responsibilities:

Revenue Delivery and Target Achievement:

Achieve and exceed sales targets with a core focus on Ryder Cup and selected tier 1 DP World Tour Events, such as BMW PGA Championships, Genesis Scottish OpenImplement strategies to drive revenue growth in line with organisational goals

Team Collaboration and Project Success:

Collaborate with the sales team to enhance the Ryder Cup and DP World Tour reputationsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with external clients, suppliers, and stakeholdersAbility and gravitas to lead sales for a given event, with requirement to have broad commercial understanding relating to margin, costs, pricing and operational fulfilmentParticipate and take a leading role in team initiatives that contribute to project achievements, including role modelling best practice in sales activities such as networking and client meetings

Sales Execution and Data Management:

Proactively pursue sales targets and objectives set by the Premium Sales Lead and Head of Premium ExperiencesEnsure accurate data entry into the CRM system (Salesforce), maintaining rich customer dataManage a detailed pipeline document, including sales estimates for reporting purposes

Requirements

Proven ability to work towards and achieve performance targetsProven track record of selling high value products or services, ideally in a sports hospitality / ticketing contextWorks well within a small team and is excited to navigate being part of a larger organisation with the ability to build relationships across bothResilient mindset with a strong motivation to succeedExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyStrong commitment to preparation and planning
