Pre-Constrcution Manager

Business Development Lead

Location: Scotland
Working Pattern: Full Time | Office Based

Are you an experienced construction professional with a strong understanding of the Scottish market and a natural ability to build relationships and identify opportunities?

You may already work in Business Development, Pre-Construction, Estimating or a related role and be looking for an opportunity to use your industry knowledge and contacts to help win new work.

You’ll join an established construction business with the opportunity to develop your network, take ownership and progress your career. The role is primarily office-based, with regular travel for client meetings, site visits and industry events.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Scottish construction market.
• Build relationships with clients, developers, consultants and key industry contacts.
• Manage a pipeline of potential projects and opportunities.
• Identify upcoming developments, projects and procurement opportunities.
• Use your network and market knowledge to create new opportunities.
• Attend client meetings, networking events and industry functions.
• Support bids and tenders with customer, market and project insight.
• Work closely with estimating, pre-construction, commercial and operational teams.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and report on business development activity.

You''ll ideally have:

• Experience within the Scottish construction market.
• A good understanding of construction, procurement and the work-winning process.
• Strong relationships across clients, consultants, developers or other industry contacts.
• The ability to identify opportunities and develop them into prospects.
• Strong commercial awareness and communication skills.
• A proactive approach and confidence dealing with senior stakeholders.
