PPA Teacher

We are currently seeking a dedicated and flexible PPA Teacher to work across a welcoming and supportive primary school on a long-term supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adaptable teacher who enjoys teaching across different year groups and can deliver engaging lessons while class teachers are out of class for Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. The role offers variety, consistency and the chance to become an integral part of the school community.

The Role

As a PPA Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Maintain continuity of learning in the absence of class teachers.
• Create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour effectively and promote high expectations.
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Contribute positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Is confident teaching across multiple year groups.
• Can quickly adapt to different classroom environments.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is reliable, organised and enthusiastic.
• Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one.
