About the Role

Applications are invited for a Barts Charity-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate post to join the laboratory of Doctor Mathieu-Benoit Voisin within the Centre for Microvascular Research. This is a unique opportunity for enthusiastic early-career researchers to contribute to an established team that has already made important scientific impact, advancing our understanding of the complex relationship between neutrophil migration into lymphatics and lymphoid organs and their immunoregulatory functions in health and disease. Building on significant findings from the PI (e.g. Arokiasamy A. et al., Sci Rep, 2017, Arokiasamy A. et al., Front Immunol, 2019), the present project aims to decipher the efficacy of a novel chemokine inhibitor for the migration of leukocytes to lymphoid organs and development of chronic inflammatory disorders such as autoimmune arthritisThe proposed project holds significant pathophysiological relevance in the field of acute and chronic inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.
