Sixth Form Teacher - SENDWe are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and committed Sixth Form Teacher to join our bespoke Post-16 provision within our successful Special Educational Needs School in Grimsby.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate teacher who is dedicated to supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to develop the skills, confidence and independence required for adulthood. Our Sixth Form provision focuses on preparation for adulthood, employability, further education, independent living and positive destinations for all learners.The RoleAs a Sixth Form Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised learning programmes for students aged 16-19 with a range of additional needs. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external agencies, you will support students to achieve their individual aspirations and reach their full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning for Post-16 students with SEND.Develop programmes that promote independence, employability, functional skills and life skills.Monitor, assess and track student progress against individual targets.Contribute to EHCP reviews and personalised learning plans.Support students'' preparation for adulthood and transition into further education, employment or supported internships.Build positive relationships with students, families, carers and external professionals.Create an inclusive, supportive ..... full job details .....
