Plumbing Lecturer

REED are seeking a Lecturer in Plumbing for a full-time teaching position in a Further Education college. This role involves teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners. The ideal candidate will have strong industry knowledge and practical experience in plumbing, coupled with experience teaching in a similar educational setting. Lecturer in Plumbing Contract: Temporary Hours: 36 hours per week Working Days: Monday to Friday Start Date: Within the next 2 weeks Pay: Up to £40 per hour Location: Post 16 environment Day-to-day of the role of a Plumbing teacher: Deliver engaging and effective training sessions to Level 1 and Level 2 Plumbing learners. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials based on the curriculum requirements. Assess and evaluate learners'' progress and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment. Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance teaching methodologies and learner experience. Stay updated with the latest industry practices and integrate them into the curriculum. Required Skills and Qualifications for the Plumbing Lecturer role: Experience teaching Plumbing in Further Education or a similar setting. Ability to teach Level 2 Plumbing learners effectively. Relevant Plumbing qualifications. Teaching qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Strong industry knowledge and practical plumbing experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
