Plant Operator

Plant operator we are recruiting for a Plant operator for our Wolverhampton based client who are a metals recycling company who specialise in the recovery of non-ferrous metal. After a successful trial period you will get the opportunity to be a permanent member and progress with the company. Role of Plant operator Operate a B1 counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload metal materials Assist with sorting and processing scrap metal around the plant Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders to complete daily tasks Carry out basic equipment checks before use Maintain a clean and safe working area Ensure materials are placed in the correct locations Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times Report any faults, damages, or safety concerns to management Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets Support general site operations as needed (e.g. manual handling, tidying, basic maintenance) Details of Plant operator Working hours: 05:30am- 17:30pm(4 on 4 off) Pay rate: Starting at 12.85ph 12 hour shifts- 4 on 4 off Overtime available and paid at a premium Duration: Temp to Perm Benefits of working with us as a Plant operator : 28 Holidays per year (inc: bank holidays) Weekly Pay Pension Scheme Potential temp to perm opportunities ..... full job details .....
