Plant Manager

Hales Group are working with their client, who are offering a great benefits package, to assist them in finding an experienced Site Supervisor or Manager to take responsibility for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of their manufacturing site. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments who can lead site operations, manage health and safety, oversee contractors, and ensure logistics run smoothly. Hours Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm Spring Season 6.00am - 6.00pm No Weekends Salary £45,000 Per annum Duties Include: Lead all site Health, Safety and Environmental activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Implement environmentally sustainable practices, reduce waste, and optimise resource use. Develop and manage the site''s operational budget, ensuring cost control and efficient resource use to meet financial targets. Manage contractor activities, including inductions, risk assessments, method statements and permit-to-work systems. Ensure all maintenance, engineering and project work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections and investigations, implementing corrective actions as required. Take responsibility for site security, facilities management and overall site standards.
