The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a growing regional team, supporting both pre-construction and live project delivery. This is a key role within the business, working closely with bid, commercial, and operational teams to develop and manage robust project programmes. You will be involved from early-stage tender planning through to construction delivery, ensuring programmes are realistic, accurate, and aligned with project objectives.

As Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Producing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Astra Powerproject

• Supporting bid teams with tender programmes, methodology, and sequencing

• Working alongside project teams to monitor progress and update programmes accordingly

• Identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities within project timelines

• Contributing to the development of construction methodologies and phasing plans

• Producing regular progress reports and programme updates for stakeholders

• Supporting the commercial team with programme-related information

• Ensuring alignment with NEC contract requirements where applicable

The Ideal Candidate
The successful Planner will have:

• Previous experience in a Planning role within the construction industry

• Strong working knowledge of Astra Powerproject (essential)

• Exposure to NEC forms of contract (preferred)

• Experience supporting both tender and live project planning activities

• Good understanding of construction processes and sequencing

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders

• A proactive and detail-oriented approach
