JOB VACANCY PICKER / PACKER / FINISHER Location: Alcester Pay: £12.71 per hour (£14.24 with rolled up holiday) Hours: Monday Thursday 9:00am 3:30pm Friday 9:00am 1:00pm Part-time initially, with the potential to become full-time We re looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our warehouse/production team. The role will involve picking, finishing, checking and packing customer orders, making sure everything is accurate, completed to a high standard and ready for dispatch. Key Responsibilities Picking products accurately against customer orders Checking products for quality, damage and accuracy Packing and labelling customer orders Preparing boxes and pallets for collection Receiving and checking deliveries Putting stock away in the correct locations Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock takes Preparing packaging and packing materials Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organised Supporting other group companies with packing and despatch when required Following company health and safety and quality procedures Important Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting. You will regularly be required to lift and move items weighing 20kg+ throughout the working day. Applicants must be physically capable of carrying out heavy lifting safely and be comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.
