JOB VACANCY – PICKER / PACKER / FINISHER  Location: Alcester Pay: £12.71 per hour (£14.24 with rolled up holiday) Hours: Monday–Thursday 9:00am–3:30pm | Friday 9:00am–1:00pm Part-time initially, with the potential to become full-timeWe’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our warehouse/production team.The role will involve picking, finishing, checking and packing customer orders, making sure everything is accurate, completed to a high standard and ready for dispatch.  Key Responsibilities Picking products accurately against customer ordersChecking products for quality, damage and accuracyPacking and labelling customer ordersPreparing boxes and pallets for collectionReceiving and checking deliveriesPutting stock away in the correct locationsMonitoring stock levels and assisting with stock takesPreparing packaging and packing materialsKeeping the warehouse clean, tidy and organisedSupporting other group companies with packing and despatch when requiredFollowing company health & safety and quality procedures  Important – Physical Requirements This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting. You will regularly be required to lift and move items weighing 20kg+ throughout the working day.Applicants must be physically capable of carrying out heavy lifting safely and be comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse environment.  About You We’re looking for someone who is:Reliable, punctual and hardworkingOrganised with good attention to detailPractical and willing to get involvedAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to follow instructions and proceduresFlexible and willing to support other areas when requiredPhysically capable of the requirements of the roleSomeone who takes pride in their workPrevious warehouse, picking, packing, production or finishing experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.  Forklift licence: Advantageous but not essential — training can be provided.  HOW TO APPLY Interested in the role?
